The team behind Vossiacare

Executive Leadership Team

VossiaCare was founded on a simple but demanding belief: the best care happens when patients and the people who care for them are at the center of everything. Guiding this mission is a leadership team that has spent their careers building and scaling exceptional healthcare organizations.

Cheryl Lovell

Chief Executive Officer

Cheryl brings more than 27 years of experience across the full continuum of post-acute and care-at-home services — home care, hospice, palliative care, home health, skilled nursing, senior living, and mobile primary care. But what truly defines Cheryl is her heart for the people at the center of it all. Throughout her career she has built care models that put patients first — improving transitions of care, reducing hospital readmissions, and making sure every person is treated with dignity, compassion, and respect. She cares just as deeply about the teams who deliver that care, championing workplaces where caregivers and staff feel supported, valued, and proud of the work they do. A U.S. Navy veteran who helped establish the first cardiac unit in a war zone, Cheryl leads with calm, steady judgment and a simple conviction: when you take great care of your people, they take great care of your patients. At her core she is a builder — and she is building VossiaCare to be a place where patients and employees alike always come first.

Joe brings more than a decade of experience taking healthcare and operating companies — home care, home health, hospice, palliative care, mobile physicians, and post-acute services — to the next level. Holding dual master's degrees in business and accounting, he has led successful acquisitions on both the buy and sell side and helped launch new service lines and startups. Joe's gift is bridging sales, operations, and finance so that sales can drive growth, operations can manage that growth, and finance can sustain it. He has a deep passion for the post-acute continuum — especially hospice — and for building sustainable practices that deliver results meeting patient, staff, and executive expectations alike.
